Meet the Band
Immy
Immy is a jazz-vocalist, singer-songwriter, lyricist and educator studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Her credits include performances at The Royal Albert Hall, Pizza Express Live and The Royal Festival Hall with the London Vocal Project, as well as performances in Germany and Switzerland as a member of Lukas DeRungs’ quintet. Immy’s voice has an indescribable quality that is clearly influenced by the great jazz vocalists of the past, from Sarah Vaughan to Blossom Dearie, and will bring a sophisticated sound to your event.
Toby
The anchor of Salon Privé Jazz, Toby’s solid beat and clear sound gives our music the harmonic and rhythmic grounding it requires – and he always does it with a smile! A recent graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, Toby has spent time studying with the best double bass players in Europe. Toby performs regularly around London, including at the 606 Club Chelsea with the Emile Hinton Trio, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with the Emma Rawicz Quartet and twice-a-month at Larry’s Bar @ The National Portrait Gallery.
Dom
Dom is in charge of all things rhythm here at Salon Privé Jazz. It’s his job to make sure your guests are still dancing on their way home! A graduate from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Dom has many years of experience playing with various events bands, including performances at the annual MIPIM Real Estate Event in Cannes, as well as countless private and corporate functions in the UK. Dom knows how to play with sensitivity and a style that will suit your event, no matter the size of the room.
